Auto declination

Hi guys
Had auto dec off with AIOP but watching Peter Kings vid there was no  mention of this or compass learn.
What';s the consensus of opinion on this one??

Yes have it off and use the web link for your local declination. Set up as per peters video. Eg rotating around all axis.
My external compass finally arrived today. Hoping for an even better loiter when I get around to fitting it.

Done the quad dance as someone called it.
Would I need to do it again with auto dec off or just turn it off?

I don';t use auto-dec. I tune it on ch6...
