Gaza - can you make the subject line section in the forum topic list wider? It's cutting off the subject field really short.

Had another negative encounter, it's been a few years since the last one, just an uneducated ******, going on about drones being illegal yada yada yada.    :-/
Still that didn't spoil my flying time, had an absolute blast  ~~

Got a Mini Zenmuse today. All hooked up and its working fine, although it occasionally goes all limp and floppy but this has been when ive been fiddling with it, plugging the naza in to the computer etc. Its also getting quite warm which I will be monitoring. Looking forward to playing more with it, will have a go tomorrow with it and see how it looks....

Comparison with the cheapies would be good too.

Got the zenmuse installed lastnight and took it for a fly today. Was feeling brave so went out over the river and the weir in cookham. The footage is pretty good. I used the crumblepops fisheyefixer in FCPX to unbend the horizon, and it turned out i was shooting 2k square, so i had to zoom in a bit and reframe to get it to fit in a 16:9 1080 frame. Also had to faff with the colours and this is the first time ive used FCPX (im a diehard FCP7 user) and so had no idea what I was doing so I made a bit of a hashjob of it.

Uploaded to youtube using the share button on FCPX (which in my opinion is not a feature that should be in software that has ';Pro'; in the name)

Anyway, here it is:

Yeh fcpx is gimmicky.  I was fcp6 then 7 first.  However it is so much quicker with its full multicore and gmu support that I finally abandoned 7 about a year ago (what was most annoying was I just just bought it 3 months before X came out!).  And colour management is truly pants in X.
