So after fitting my new APM to my TBS I found it quite difficult to see the status LEDs for GPS and Arm.
To do this I decided to use 2 of my already fitted orientation LEDs, a 12v buzzer and a Darlington array IC.

Parts

The strip board cut and tracks cut.

IC header soldered in.

IC header and pin headers soldered in.

IC plugged in to complete the module.

I then connected A5, A6 and A7 of the APM to the first 3 inputs of the Darlington array. The neutrals of the LEDs and the buzzer connect to the the opposite outputs. And just a neutral the pin 9 of the IC. All the positives are connected to 12v on the power distribution board.

I then changed LEDmode in the parameter list to 11 and the write params.

As you can see the left strip indicates GPS lock and the right strip is for armed/disarmed. If you listen carefully you can here the buzzer also indicating arm/disarm.
Simples.

Working now, done similar on my Q650 but with ultra brute LEDs. Yours look fab.
