Gaza - can you make the subject line section in the forum topic list wider? It's cutting off the subject field really short.

Had another negative encounter, it's been a few years since the last one, just an uneducated ******, going on about drones being illegal yada yada yada.    :-/
Still that didn't spoil my flying time, had an absolute blast  ~~

Might be useful to others.

It';s not half as strong as the old plastic legs, and will probably break on a hard landing, so not to sure how long it will last, but we';ll see:

basically a few bits of 3mm ID carbon tube, a couple of kiting T- joints, and a pair of these:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=31170

total cost about 15 quid.

keeps the legs out of the video frame, and looks kinda cool.

Nice mate.  Nifty idea for getting those legs out the way of the camera on a 450.

jessej

looking to build this as well!

Where did you buy those t-joints from?

A list of materials with (UK) suppliers would be super helpful!

Thanks

powerlord

They are just from a kite shop on the net.  Sorry it was ages ago,  can';t remember who.
