HK MinimOSD v1.1 dont transfer video

hello i hawe bought Minim OSD v1.1 from hobbyking and i have problem with it, dont see ani video i have tested 5V mod and 5V+12V and nothing, leds flashing dont have video picture, on direct connection video Tx and GoPro is video OK.

your video chip sounds like it is blown

no matter whether they are HK / RCT or EBAY Version 1 or 2  ( i have tried a few )

they are very susceptible to power spike after my 3rd one fried the chips  i learnt to connect with no power at all the most common spike is connecting the usb to computer and doing the 5v mod before doing anything with it
