Well I managed to crash my quad and snap 2 arns, of course the damn thing came down on the only hard thing for 20p metres in all directions (bloody drain cover)

Does anybody know a supplier who carries RCTimer arms in the UK?

It';s a Peter King built machine and almost everyhing else on it is RCTimer supplied so I assume the frame is the same

I have a bunch of spare arms for RCTimer style 450 quads...

I';m just not sober enough to list them right now ~~

Bear with me and I am sure we can sort something out...

Have you tried contacting peter as he usually carries some in stock.

Mine that I had off him now has DJI arms @ £4 each, it was worth the price because they are much better made, most if not all of the sections are thicker and the weight increase is minimal.

Thanks folks

So are the dji ones fit without any issues ? As I wasnt expecting the clones to that accurate a copy of the original dji product.

I did drop Peter an email but I suspect that he is busy with real life things (or on holiday atm)

I carry stock of most RCT Timer products, Arms, ESC';s, Motors, Props, Flight Controllers, electronics, gimbals and all their Frames too including the S800 clone and the new S800-R.

I sell these in my ebay shop (username: protips) although I';ve been away for a couple of weeks so its been closed. However, I';ll be re-opening either tomorrow or Friday. I';ve got a big RC Timer order on its way at the moment so I';ll have stock of nearly everything (multirotor) that they do by the end of next week.

The replacement 450 and 550 clone arms are £12 for a set of 4 (plus p&p) Personally, I prefer them to the DJI arms - the only real difference is that the clones use slightly larger screws (3mm instead of 2.5mm)

PM me if you need anything

Thanks,

I will be receiving a couple of replacements from Peter, but after payday I be creating a stock of spares for this machine

The crash didn';t really annoy me but the not having any spares (apart from props) has been very irritating.

In my crash a couple of weeks ago I managed to murder one of the motors.

I don';t suppose anybody has a HP2212-1000KV Outrunner lurking around?

Peter is on holiday until September and this thing has been out of service for almost 3 weeks

Thanks

I';m just waiting for a couple of those very motors from rctimer to convert an old 450 from peter to a 550 hex. Its been about 2 weeks since I ordered them. Getting a bit impatient now. Talk about slow boat from china! Also dunno if you';ve looked at those motors on rctimer website but they';ve changed the colour of them in the picture. I hope that doesn';t mean they';re different motors that don';t match my existing ones......

I have one here, I got it as a spare for my quad, it';s yours if you replace when stock comes in, because SAS when I get round to flying mine i';ll need it

kilby

Good grief man are you every going to put that monster into the air?

That would be great I do have an order in but he won';t be back from holidays until Sept 4th, if you could survive till then (which seems like rather a long time for you to wait for an replacement)

BTW what sort of delivery times do rc-timer have as there';s some spares that I will be wanting in the future (including those hex screws with the shoulders)

Hey ... it';s not a monster it';s a spider

I';ve no problem waiting, it';ll take me until then to get the dust off my quad.

RCT times vary, best I had was around 12 days, worst was around 30 days

kilby

Hey I like monsters (and spiders)

It would be great to borrow a motor and get this thing into the air again.

Let me know whatever would be convenient for you
