Memory Card for Hero3 Black

Fingers crossed i should now have a GoPro Black on the way to me after the fiasco with Barclaycard.

Being that all memory cards are not boor equal what make of Class 10 card are people using and where from ?

General reading seems to indicate i should avoid a 64GB card as there as some issues but any other advice much appreciated.

My preferred brands are Samsung and Kingston as I have never had any difficulty';s with their products over the years.

Some people swear at Sandisk personally I swear at them (all buy 1 of my 6 sandisk products failed within 9 months)


I have tended to not go larger than 16 gig cards.

I would normally say that Sandisk are very good except with the GoPro3. For some reason it bricks them. Of course, GoPro blame Sandisk and Sandisk blame GoPro!

I use PNY in my gp3.

I';m using a Kingston 64Gb Class 10 in my GoPro 3 black. I got it from CCL Computers and I haven';t had any issues with it yet. Of course now I';ve said that it';ll pack up next time I use it

Just slapped a 16gb Sandisk Extreme 80mbs in my brand new GP3 Black.
Yes, I did read all the advice offered on various forums but like a kid in a Candy shop I could not wait and bought one from a high street supermarket.
I will update this thread if and when it dies, but so far so good.

Went for a Lexar 32GB from Amazon as it';s the make on the GoPro web site.

Sandisk 64 Gb class 10 SDXC from MOby memory c. £49.  All ok (10 months). Formated on PC & Mac MS-DOS, no difference
