Gaza - can you make the subject line section in the forum topic list wider? It's cutting off the subject field really short.

Had another negative encounter, it's been a few years since the last one, just an uneducated ******, going on about drones being illegal yada yada yada.    :-/
Still that didn't spoil my flying time, had an absolute blast  ~~

Hi,

I';ve been pondering over whether to add iOSD or EzOSD to my TBS.

I';d been recommended iOSD by a couple of people.

Price Comparison

Today, I found out that for the iOSD to work with my Naza V1, I will need to purchase the DJI V2 PMU and DJI iOSD V2. The total price for this is £42 + £170 = £212.

The ezOSD and Current sensor simply plugs in and works out at £143.

Weight Comparison

The iOSD weight is 140g.

The ezOSD weight is 48g.

Conclusion

For me, the ezOSD wins hands down with a total saving of 92g and £70 cheaper.

iOSD does not have RSSI input...

If you are using exUHF Stef.. then the 12C port connects between your ezOSD and the ezUHF rx..  very integrated..

EzOSD is great for a  multirotor osd

Not too cluttered with really nice clear text displaying the important stuff.

Hi guys,

Oh! Thanks for the clarification and the vote of confidence in the ezOSD.

Looks like it';s a no brainer!

Stef, the ezosd gives u flight summary as well!  I think if dji improve the look and functionality of their iosd';s, thru firmware, then it will be a logical choice for dji users perhaps?  Until then, i prefer ezosd.  Oh yes, don';t forget you can track your multi realtime using the ezosd app (with the connector cable)
