Gaza - can you make the subject line section in the forum topic list wider? It's cutting off the subject field really short.

Had another negative encounter, it's been a few years since the last one, just an uneducated ******, going on about drones being illegal yada yada yada.    :-/
Still that didn't spoil my flying time, had an absolute blast  ~~

Just had a thought, even with all the crashing I've done, I haven't bought any replacement props in over a year ~~

Arduflyer side pins

Hi guys
With the Arduflyer side pins do you need to cut them down as they protrude quite a bit and will probably make soldering trickier.
Also without cutting them will they still fit in an APM case
Cheers

Hi Roy,

They should not be cut at all. I suspect you';re assuming the orientation is to lay the black plastic flat on the board - this is incorrect (and imo, counter-inutitive).

See Jumpy07';s pic here http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php?topic=597.15

EDIT: I just got my side-entry case and they fit very snuggly indeed  ~~

I mounted the angled pins incorrectly. They were a complete sod to unsolder, and sourcing a replacement set was a time-consuming process (located a long strip of them on Amazon in the end!).
