Arduflyer side pins

Hi guys
With the Arduflyer side pins do you need to cut them down as they protrude quite a bit and will probably make soldering trickier.
Also without cutting them will they still fit in an APM case

Hi Roy,

They should not be cut at all. I suspect you';re assuming the orientation is to lay the black plastic flat on the board - this is incorrect (and imo, counter-inutitive).

EDIT: I just got my side-entry case and they fit very snuggly indeed  ~~

I mounted the angled pins incorrectly. They were a complete sod to unsolder, and sourcing a replacement set was a time-consuming process (located a long strip of them on Amazon in the end!).
