Hi guys,

I know taking screen shots of images or photos and uploading to the chat room has always been a little bit of a problem. So, here is a very nice solution... it is very easy to use...

1. Download and install Gyazo
2. Click Gyazo icon on your desktop
3. Draw a fence around the area you want to grab
4. Go to chat room and click image button
5. Paste link which is already in your clipboard

EASY!

Thanks, Stef

If user';s on the server I admin posted images in a chat room I would have kittens! Chat is greedy enough on bandwidth depending on the refresh rate and number of users but having those users load an image every couple of seconds for the life of the chat session is going to gobble bandwidth.

It doesnt put the image on the server it just adds a image link to the chat screen so peoples computers fetch the image from the link, so all the server see is a text link as far as I know  ~~

That';s OK but I presumed from the original post it embedded an image in to the chat room. Very costly if your paying for your bandwidth.

No. This software takes a screen shot and uploads to the Gyazo server and then post a link in the chat room. So it won';t affect the chat room bandwidth at all!
