Tbh I've been really busy, not had much time to fly anything and with conditions being crap, hopefully in the new year I'll have some new projects on the go, mostly to do with HAM radio, will certainly fly again soon. FTR I hate FB too   :D Merry Christmas

A triple selection!

So here we have 3 vids that I thought I would take this evening:

1. This is my sport quad, it is an Afro32 but I only ever use the gyros - i have it tuned quite nicely but you can still hear some jitter in the vid which I can see whilst flying  - not sure you can really see it in the vid though

2. This is essentially the same quad but with different motors and some wooden props - I really like how smooth it is - however, the FC still picks up some vibrations through the frame which you can hear as the motors 'pulse' when in a stable hover.

3. This is a KK2 board on an XAircraft clone frame - I cannot get this to behave no matter what I do with P and I settings. I don't seem to be able to select any filtering either so this may have to go on another frame.

Cheers

Nice videos, those wooden props look especially good.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

Excellent flying Ice  :bravo: is there a way of setting a filter for vibrations on the 32 multi wii like there is on the normal wii, although your copter seem very stable and very responsive  ~~

indeed there is. You can do all the tweaking on the command line when the FC is plugged in via the USB - you don't have to keep modifying the code and reflashing - which is very useful!

The wooden props are nice - I reckon they would be good for a very steady machine! I will use them on my all alu frame eventually - got lots of props to play with which i bought from our chinese friends.

Such a different sound from the wooden props. Good flying, love the flip, not had the gonads to try that yet. :notworthy:
