Just got back from first flights with HD19 on my DIY rollerblind bracket brushless gimbal.

Yah it';s awesome.  The gimbal is not fitted to my new FPV quad build but to my faithful 450 Naza quad.  Could not resist swapping out the goodluckbuy gimbal to quickly try my home brew gimbal job and HD19camera with RC Desire gimbal controller.
1080p vids recorded ok but I am unable to replay  the vids I took in 720 60fps??  maybe  I need a faster memory card...I have a class 10 on it';s way in the post.  Will try again when that is fitted.

anyway here';s the vid:

Now to refit the Goodluckbuy and GoPro back  to the 450 NAZA quad as this is my reliable setup.  HD19 to go on unfinished fpv quad build.....

very nice Gav,it just shows you it dosent have to cost the earth to get decent performances,it gives us ones on a tight budget hope,Marty. :scotland:

Very nice Gav! Now I have one more project for the ';to do'; list. I don';t know if we have blind brackets like that on this side of the pond but bet I can find something. Great job ~~

I picked up a 32G class 10 card for my HD19. Seems to work OK for the few vids so far, last one was at 720/60. You didn';t get the one I sent you? ::)

What size motors/props are you running, seems much smoother than my 450 clone.

Thanks for the inspiration.

No didn';t get the mem card mate very strange. ...

I use 2 stages of rubber vib dampening. 4 x M3 15mm rubber posts hanging the skids then underneath that the rubber hangers hanging the gimbal itself.
In addition I use Graupner 10 x 5 props which are amazing and run smooth.  Motors are 1100kv rc timer.  20A rc timer ESCS flashed with SimonK.  I dont bother balancing props either. .. Would rather pluck my lengthier nasel hairs.

Still some improvement to be made for total wobble free vid, but this is not a commercial ship .. it';s just for fun.

I like the gimbal Gav   Looks really cool for a couple of roller blind brackets! Looks like its well stable too. Are you moving it up and down with head tracking or twiddling a knob? :o :o :o

Gav

Not quite twiddling a knob but a slider on the side of the tranny. :P
