Tbh I've been really busy, not had much time to fly anything and with conditions being crap, hopefully in the new year I'll have some new projects on the go, mostly to do with HAM radio, will certainly fly again soon. FTR I hate FB too   :D Merry Christmas

I am looking ahead to my next project.  I am looking for some ideas for a new airframe.  Thinking may be a quad of at least 600 sized, think I will need the room for all the gear that will end up on it.   ~~
SkyNet shall rise!!!!!!

You could built a big quad and got the the eight motors 4 on top 4 on bottom this would be an heavy lifter but need some decent size packs

When you say 600 sized, what does that mean, the distance between the rotors or something...

Mutli rotors are measured motor to motor passing over the centre of the copter and not side by side, hence the smaller rctimer rm450 actually measures 450mm motor centre to motor centre,
Some people measure them buy measuring across the motors side by side this is deff the wrong way the rm450 only measures around 320mm that way  ;)

Well this is exciting, I wonder how big my quad is.

Back in a sec.

That's quite big my bigger ones are 650mm  ~~
