The new beta builds are much much better b609 works well for me, don';t forget to load the fonts (you need to connect the 12v side for font upload or have the bypass of the digital 5v directly to the analog side)

I found also that you can configure A0 (on APM) for RSSI and send PWM RSSI signal without filter from your RX and it works, just he signal and ground connected. (saw the RSSI warning you have)
