TBS Discovery - flight#6

Flight number 6 on my new TBS Discovery.....

Met some cycling buddies for a coffee and then filmed them on the journey home.....it was a little windy but the footage has a lot of ';jello';

The props are balanced, I have not checked the motors.....I have tried moongel under the GoPro and this footage is using the anti-vibration pads from eBay.....

YouTube applied its ';anti-shake'; filter as it was really bad !

Hi, ref your Jello with disco. Try mounting the GoPro on 2 mm tape to both base and between the upper frame. Then double band the GP on as firmly as possible so its virtually hard mounted. Jello is caused by wobbling on a soft mount, blur is vibration related. Shooting in  720P/60FP';s also goes a long way to getting decent results.

Mine is sitting on 10mm foam bottom and rear. Then held on with a hair elastic nicked off the missus. Make sure its not touching the fpv bracket next to it. Or anything else hard.

+1 on the 720 and 60fps. Makes a big difference with jello.

8x4.5 carbon props, balanced....

Definitely smoother, the first wobbles are me, it was 8C and I was cold, must add some expo on my Tx model for the Disco.....

Still waiting for my Cyclops OSD before I have a go at FPV again......
