quick test to see if transmitter end points are stopping you arming your multiwi

In chat a few days ago, someone was having issues with arming their multiwii

everything seemed to be set correctly, but as a quick test, i advised him to use his throttle trim and move it all the way down, this allowed him to arm his multiwii board

of course once we had worked out that it was the throttle end points that were not small/large enough, he was able to go and program his transmitter to sort this, but the throttle trim was a good quick test

its also worth noting you can do this with the rudder trim too, so add right rudder trim, then see if it arms (remember you might need to add left rudder trim to disarm it)

once again, once you have proven if this is the issue, go into your transmitter programming and increase the rudder end points to give you more travel.

do not rely on trim as a permanant solution

hope it helps someone else

Many Thanks

i set all my end points to 125, before that i was having problems, also from what i remember reading it depends if your using a Rx or just a sat.
Point and click.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

Ok his looks more promising than shorting the diode!

I';ve confirmed I an arm with the throttle trim at full down, so how/where on a DX6i do I adjust the end points?

PS Don';t test this with power to the props, nearly had a nasty accident!
