Naza lite with GPS and ESC question

Hello all

I have just received an email telling me that my Naza lite & GPS bundle has been dispatched from Firstpersonview as i had paid for it when it was on back order.

At the moment i am using a KK V2.0 flight controller and the ESC connectors that attach to it i have temporarily pulled out the red wire from ESC';s 2, 3 and 4 with the silver connector still attached but fastened back on the cable so now i am only using the signal and negative wires on 2, 3 and 4 except for motor number 1 which has all three wires attached to give the KK board its power.

I was told that if all the ESC connector wires were left attached and connected to the KK V2.0 it could cause problems which is why i removed the red positive wires.

My question is when my Naza arrives and i am installing the ESC connectors would it do any harm leaving the wires as they are now or should i put the power wires back in the ESC connectors 2, 3 and 4.  :frantic:

It does not matter with the Naza.  You can leave them in or take them out.

Hello SimonS

Thank you for the reply but i wonder does it still need at least one ESC connector to power the Naza or does it get its power from a different method as i was concerned that if all four of the ESC connectors were complete with all the wires it may affect the Naza flight controller.

The Naza has its own power source.  You will see when you open the box.  There is something called a versatile unit that accepts 2s-6s LiPo';s and powers the Naza an the Rx. It also contains the USB connector and the LED.

I would suggest going to the DJI website and downloading the manual.  All the info is in there.

I just completed an IFLY to NAZA M Lite GPS, I used Turnigy 18A ESCs and I cut all of the Red leads at the plug end, NO red connectors at all.

and she flies a treat http://youtu.be/pV83p_-iRX8
