Range on FlySky X9 with FrSky DJT & D8R XP

Ok so now i';ve resolved the interference issues with my 5.8ghz FPV set up I now seem to have a limited range on the Radio range as the DJT module starts to beep a signal loss warning at ranges I';ve previously flown line of sight ?

The beeping is starting at about 300 to 400m range.

It';s a DJT module in the TX and a D8R-XP reciever.

Should I re bind them with the FPV TX and RX powered up ?

Hi Steve
I got this for my frysky module

also do you have separation of your VTX and your RX on your quad I have one at either end so as much separation as possible

I start getting 1 beep at about 1000 mtrs but not flown much further than that yet

yep rtx and VTX at opposite ends of the quad. Time for 5db TX antenna

Although I';m not sure of a solution, I definitely experience something similar. With the frsky djt module and d4r-II RX I start getting single beeps at 350-400m (but I';m also usually flying at a low altitude of around 10-20m). I don';t really have good separation between the 5.8 VTX and RX either.

When I do a range test,I do get over 30 m before the high pitch beeps start, which I think is suppose to indicate normal range.

5db Aerial arrived today so I will see if that helps.

I';d be interested to hear if there is any improvement...
