Help - Silly sausage messes up RC Timer Build - Parts needed

So I gave up after watching all the videos and grabbed myself an RC Timer APM 2.5.  It arrived in bits as expected.  I am well versed in assembling microelectronics and so didn';t consider this a challenge.  I also ordered a side-entry case for the board, and very nice it looks too.  But it doesn';t fit the board!!  Read on ...

What I did not allow for was a touch of my own stupid impatience. I rushed the job.

Like a complete numpty, I';ve not only soldered the right-angle connectors on the wrong way round, but I also snipped off the excess pins of these underneath the board.  Thereby ensuring that I cannot simply unsolder and re-fit.  That, dear friends, is why the case doesn';t fit ... grr  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

So, is there anyone with a unwanted set of right-angled connectors that they';d like to sell to me - I';ll pay for them and the postage too.

Anyone?  ::)

Thanks a million DarrenG - I couldn';t find these anywhere! Clearly must have been searching with the wrong phrase.  :embarrassed

One strip ordered - a costly faux pas on my part. Lets hope lesson learned  ::)

Easily done, I saw a blog post from someone else and thought he';d put them in wrong but he hadn';t. They gone in the opposite way to the obvious!

I wish 3DR would offer a case that had all the pins coming out of the side. Can';t understand why the side entry option still has the accessory pins vertical, irks me!

Err, yeah. I thought I was being clever. The case hadn';t arrived at the same time as the board. So I fitted all the right angled headers.  Case arrives and its Doh!  :banghead:  So had to remove the long strip - that was a right chore! Soldered in the straight headers on that, then attempted to fit the case and ... Doh!  :banghead:  The case was being held apart and the pins didn';t reach the edges of it.

It was only when I read through on this forum that I realised what I';d done  :banghead:
