Circle mode

Tried circle mode out for first time today.

wahee - its really flying well now - loiter, land, rth all working well.

circle work ok - but is very slow.. and it sort of does a bit... stops.. does a bit more.. etc.

I know you can change the radius of the circle, but can you make it go around in circles faster ?

I think you can mate yes. I saw it on one of Peter Kings YouTube videos. I';m at work at mo and can';t help you with a link but if you search Peter King on YouTube you should be able to find his video with it in.

Circle rate (ArduCopter:CIRCLE_RATE)
Circle mode's turn rate in degrees / second. Positive to turn clockwise, negative for counter clockwise

Range: -90 90
Increment: 1
Units: Degrees / second

Ah cool I had a look but couldn';t see anything.. Unless that is just in 3 ? I';m on 2.9: I';m not moving to 3 till it is released. I tried the latest and it wouldn';t even let me arm the thing because if bad voltage checks that are still being experimented with

There is only a v3 for APM Arducoper , if like me you have a AIO v2 you are stuck with unto 29.1 for ArducopterNG .

I';ve got an APM (arduflier).

gave up with crius boards.

There was some bug regarding circle in RC5, RC6 fixes that.

I also did a circle with RC5  it took a while to start circling and then it was very slow but constant.

How do you get landing to work? I was landing nicely untill touchdown, then it bounced..... on the second bounce I took controll, seems like my baro is always off..... there must be a  better way for it to know it has touched ground.
