Hi!
I have 1,5 year experience from multiwii and now started pley with my old MWC AIO pro 1.0 board with MegapirateNG software.
Now I got 2.9 software and been just playing with it with small quad. For my experience LOOKS really promising  :notworthy: and BIG thanks for developers of that software.

I have couple of questions:

1. I Also have Muliwii Megaboard with 0.4.3 IMU (10DOF IMU, I think?). Does that work with MegapirateNG?
2. I have now Crius Ublox updated GPS, is there better GPS for this?
3. I got also Crius BT module? I havent get it work. Is there any way I could test it like with ftdi cable?
4. I planning to buy full set of best stuff for MegapirateNG, board, GPS, etc, I could get connection wirelessly to my Galaxy Note2 on the field. Any recommendations?
5. What actually wireless phone connection (pad), or pc with all features needs?

I work with aerial filming with Droidworx Hexa and av200 gimbal. But I´ve had 3 failures because of DJI GPS. Now just trowed birds with that GPS module and fly manual.
Has anyone experience using MegapirateNG brains in heavylift filming multi´s?
My few reel videos: www.vimeo.com/k3ilmakuvaus

Now I have all basic flight modes mixed to my radio, also been flying acro, but save this piece now for normal tsting :)! I Still bit small wobble, but don´t know my electric´s and old motors (need to build other one soon to compare)

I got basicly all work straight. I like idea to have all behind switches :)! and the alt-hold and loiter IN STRONG WIND is something amazing, comparing anything else. Keep up GOOD work!

Here my MegapirateNG 2.9 test vid´s, (sorry mostly finnish), I try do better ones with subs or in english soon I have time.

alt-hold cruising:

Loiter in wind 10 m/s gusts= 20 knots:

My first way point mission :) end bit funny, had to just test, not much use in aerial filming:

I got circle mode also work. Like that if I loose GPS at least my copter dont flip and crash like DJI, when it got crazy.
One time I lost gps on high  :frantic: circle  :frantic: mode test with MeagapirateNG and just turned switches to get it stabilize mode, and so happy, I have all control to my copter

Thanks if I could get help and info, if someone uses MegapiranteNG with heavy with 4S Hexa´s of X8,(which I am planning to build soon)

Hi Karpo3 and welcome to the forum, the Imu you mentioned should work in megapirate I think there is a define for it,
If you would like a better controller for your camera ship you should look at the APM2.5 its a very good controller and uses the Arducopter code and not a port of it,
Thanks for sharing your videos keep em coming  ~~  :beer2:

Hello karpo  welcome dude

I watched your autopilot way point flight video.  The landing is very funny.  Quad does everything perfectly as instructed, then simply throws itself back on the floor once it';s done with the routine lmao.

Cheers

For you number 4 question: the best will be getting the telemetry kit working and connecting with a cheap USB OTG cable to your Android device (better range than bluetooth) and using Andropilot software for android it has most of what you want.

Using droidplanner app with the telemetry, allowed you to fly your multi rotor device from you android device but I wouldn';t recommend doing so (not that I tried)

Big thanks for help :)!
Yep :) Android just for wireless playing and adjustments, not for flying :)!
