I live on Portland .
Its an Island (peninsula) near Weymouth in Dorset (South England), and was where the Sailing for the Olympics was held this year  ~~
I also fly Gliders from the Cliffs.

Its a RC enthusiasts Paradise , Im very lucky to live in such a great place ,

Thanks for the comments , its my 5th time out FPVing , but I feel I am getting there :)

Take it that is the Portland stone quary?

You will have to do a video of the lighthouse, when it';s not too windy - certainly wasn';t that sunny the last time I was there, or even a dambuster run down chesil beach.

That , to be honest is 1 of many working Quarries on the Island  :slap:,
But there is an awful lot of old ones that are not used now ,
other than for Airsoft ,Mountain bikes, Trials Biking and RC car races  to name a few uses .
I have done many, many Glider Vids . But not really had a good snoop like you can with FPV kit . I am so addicted to Quads and FPV its getting me in trouble with her indoors .

I will do a Lighthouse Vid for you Marty , the kk2 board is ok in anything up to about 20 mph wind . I will try and Do all 3 lighthouses in the 1 video  ~~

  Now your thinking ,  3 lighthouses !!.
                                But there is ,
and you will see them on here as soon as I can get out and Do them .

What a superb place to go flying, I';m very jealous - would love to chuck my SAS Wildthing off anywhere in your videos, I have to travel 30-40 miles to anything like a decent slope! Lots of interesting places to fly multicopters as well   ~~

XamaX

Awesome! I was hoping to get some footage of climbing on Portland from my set up when I get a decent camera for it...I used to climb there quite a bit before my daughter came along.
Happy flying  Bob!

Bobbyr

I promised to put a video up of the Lighthouse .

It was a little windy to fly , but was a good mornings flying on Sunday.
