Royston

Hi guys
Just bought a 450 with a KK2 board.
The guy demonstrated it and it flew great.
Brought it home used same settings as for Peter King quad with DX7s. Bound to radio no problem but won';t arm. Rudder at zero and bottom right as usual.
Am I doing something stupid??

You need to set self level to Aux not stick think. Will chewcwk whwn I get hime and cxan see it

Vidal

Will check when I get home and can see it

Paul

Should arm by pushing throttle stick to right or left if you have channel reversed
Paul

Royston

Cheers guys.
Will try stick to the left. Does that mean if throttle is rev in tranny??

Paul

If it arms by pushing left, the Yaw is reversed.
Paul

Royston

Cheers
Armed to the left. Motors fired up but just tipped over to the right.
Any east fixes or is it just start from scratch.
Thanks again guys.

Have you calibrated the ESC';s?
Are the motors rotating in correctly direction?
Are props fitted in correct direction?
Paul

Royston

Haven';t done any of that Paul as when I picked it up it was flying perfectly so didn';t think ther would be an issue? ?

Are you trying to compensate with the yaw. As the channel is reversed you need to move the stick in the opposite direction or reverse the yaw channel on the TX.
It will then arm by moving the yaw to the right.
Paul

Royston

Sorry Paul but a lot of thes terms mean nothing to me.
Presumably the yaw is the rudder and all I do is power up and the quad just flips to tbe left. I don';t input any stick movement.  Tried reversing the rudder in tx but it then didn';t arm.

Paul

If you have reversed the (yaw) yes the rudder on the TX you will now need to push right to arm.
Paul

Paul

Have you set the TX to airplane mode.
Paul

Royston

Yep done that.
Used same settings as for  Peter King  quad I have.

Give Biffa or Gaza07 a shout they may be able to help you more.

Cheers Paul
Thanks a lot anyway

Paul go into channel reverse and alter channel 4 that should at least make it arm properly and hopefully wont tip over,Marty. :scotland:

Isnt there a menu option on the kk2 to check your radio connections are working and in the correct sense have you looked at this ?
Have you reset the board at all most of the time when a copter flips some thing is configured wrongly
like props or motors connections,
Can you tsake a short video of the problem and a few pics of the board and wiring  ~~

If it was me I would do a new model in your radio with brand new vanilla settings, just copying what worked for one quad with a KK board and a particular RX may not work for the next.

That way you can be 100% that all the motors are rotating correctly, all your controls are not reversed etc.

OK guys will go back to basics and try again over the weekend.
Thanks for all the help
