Antex xs25 or 15watt is an excellent iron. Buy it with a silicone cable though. It will last a life time.

My variable temp one finally bit the dust at the weekend - would only work at one temperature - core of the sun.

So ordered a new un from eBay - digital one thus time. 50 squid, but if it lasts a good 12 years like the last one it';ll be worth it.
