I just have Frsky module with VBfr8 from hobbyking

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... II_RX.html

I';ve successfully bind, but when do pre check, the maximum distance between the module and the receiver is only 5 meters
whereas in the manual, can reach 30 Meters
what should i do?? :(

I';ve tried the farthest distance, only about 200meter (TX to RX)
distance between my antenna 90 degrees
I did a pre check several times with the same result, less than 5 meters then the signal is lost

I dont have this radio so dont really have any knowledge of it but it does sound like there is some thing wrong with either the tx or rx

You should be able to get 2km with this setup.. so something wrong..

Hard to say what unfortunately..  but would check you antenna connections first

Does this happen at one site only ?..

Something I';ve seen for the d8 model is that the active bit of the antenna (the silvery bit) is actually 32mm ... for 2.4 GHz 29.2 is "better" ... not something I';ve tried with mine yet but the antenna can be replaced very easily and cheaply if it all goes wrong :)

Also is there anything between the rx and tx ... also worth noting if you are at home your wifi, your cordless phone and your microwave (if running) will all interfere :)
