oops: just realised I';d posted this to the crius forum by mistake: so for those that missed it:

PLUS: Just added another video: see below!!

Got this today, and gave it a quick review and flight test.

If yer doing things on the cheap, or fancy sticking a camera on a hubs an x4 this would work well.

flight test is on my naza and rctimer gimbal (048 firmware)

Review of 1080p keychain key-ring camera (1080p30, 720p60 H264)

maybe someone can post on the big US rc forum - I';m banned for daring to fly on quadcopter to UK airlaws.....

UPDATE:

took it out of the case, removed battery and wired it into same battery as Hubsan X4.

Here';s the results:

Hubsan X4 on board video with 720p60 keychain camera

The video looks nice for a cheap £35 key ring camera.

Good review, thanks for posting.

Looks very similar to the old 808 #16 camera i was using only it does 1080 as well as 720 - not a bad thing if true.

One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

yup, main difference is 1080p30 and 720p60.

And it saves in H264 rather than a crappy avi format like most of the old ones.

I mean don';t get me wrong - quality is still pretty rubbish - but it is cheap.

Maybe good for unusual viewpoints - e.g. stuck to a quad leg, or stuck on a pole pointing back at quad or summit like that ?

Balders

My "jumbo" 808 has been stuck on all sorts of things, I tend to use it as my "hat cam" these days, but I';ve had some lovely rear-ward racing stuff on my long range FPV flying wing:

Just to follow up - I tried the video out and it had a delay of about a second  so useless for fpv
