Goofing about in the buttercups
Buttercups

Went out flying last night, It was a nice very calm evening so had to have a go.
With the 7X4.5 props it is unstable with fast vertical climbs, it tries to throw itself upside down.
With relatively calm climbs it is fine.
It is like the motor thrust is unbalanced,  but I would of expected to see that under normal flying.
It could be just the KK board not keeping up.
Is it better on the latest firmware?
I normally fly without level hold on.

Could be esc calibration, at full throttle it can';t compensate,  I';d recallibrate your esc';s

Hope that helps
Phil
Many Thanks

Anything is worth a try, so just recalibrated and will test it in a bit.

my DJI F450 used to do that, everything seemed fine only thing i could think of was, flex in the frame.

Point and click.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

It is trashed now four porps broken and one arm.
Props not an issue I have more of the but the frames seem to be out of stock, doh.  :(

Replace them with DJI ones they';re stronger

how bad is the break? i repaired a broken arm with some tape and superglue  done the job nicely for just flying around.

u could also maybe try making your own frame

Snapped off at the motor, for $11 I didn';t think it was worth messing about with.
However, superglue, epoxy may be the answer!
I think I will try a DJi frame and see if they are stronger.
As for own frames, well up for it, I have a source for quality carbon fibre, and have played about with some designs.
I have a bit of a terminator theme for an idea, just need the time.
It would help if I could throw the basher around with confidence, before construction commences.

gah mine was in the middle of leg and was quite straight forward to fix, done the job until a new one arrived.

sounds like an interesting design, hopefully u get some time to put something together.

I have a small stock of 450 [clone] legs - bought two whole frames after busting up my 450 while learning this flying malarkey   Now I';m getting gooder at flying I';ve ended up with a stock of 7 of the things in my Bits Box. Hopefully not tempting fate, they';ll stay there forever.

One I epoxied up while waiting for delivery - it worked well enough, and I';ve kept it as a "just in case" - which the Mrs loves when I hoard stuff.  I used cable ties to hold it all in place while the epoxy hardened and decided to leave them as additional strengthener.
