What Battery Charger Do You Use

As the tile says what battery charger do you use and are you balancing your packs every time you charge or dont you bother balancing packs at all,

Most of the time I use this one for charging and balancing

[attach=1]

Or if I have had a bit of a session then I will also use this

[attach=2]

It charges or balanace charges 4 packs at once it was actually bought when I used to own a trex450 heli and used to go through a few packs at a time,
I always balance charge my packs and always at 1c  ~~

I use the balance charge set on 6C (although it never gets much higher than 4c in practice).

One circlip short of a quadcopter.
 1 lobe short of an antenna.

Gaza07

Although the packs say they can I never tend to go over 1c probably because in the early days of lipo's you just couldn't go over 1c with out damaging them  ~~

I have this one http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__5548__IMAX_B6_Charger_Discharger_1_6_Cells_GENUINE_.html

I just charge my 2200mah zippy's at 2.2a which I believe is 1c if I read it right 1c = 1 x capacity  :smiley:

Gaza07

Yes 2200mah at 1c is 2.2 the c = capacity so if you have a 3000mah battery 1c = 3a / 2c = 6a /3c = 9a and so on  ~~

I had pro peak chargers for years and never had a problem with any of them they are well made good quality chargers, I had the earlier sigma and it was fine,
They used to be much more expensive than the one in the link, thats a nice charger at a nice price, and not dangerous at all  ~~
