Hi.
No mention of balancing props with P K quad??
Is this necessary and if so best one to buy pease.

All ways good. To check balance I just got one off eBay has magnet ends seems to do the job OK

I think the great planes one is about the best on the market it works very well and easily allows for balancing of the hub to, The finger version isnt worth getting dont skimp on your prop balancer its a very important part of the hobby, it also packs away into the stands to form a nice storage case  ~~

the dubro balancer is also very good just make sure to Keep the wheels clean

The you tube of using old motor as prop balance is a fantastic idea

I bought a Top Flight balancer from a local shop a couple of weeks ago and I can';t see how you could better it!
I also have a PK Quad, I got new RC Timer carbon fibre props for it( broke the old ones) and they were pretty well balanced when I got them. Only one was a bit awkward to get spot on and I had to add weight to one side of the hub. I use car paint clear lacquer. It dries quickly and you can';t see it.

I bought a Maglev from ebay which seems to do the job.

i ended up going with a 2nd hand dubro balancer for £23 posted, it should be here soon :)
