A nice day up here so a little flight with the disco.  Take off and started to fly the quad away from myself when at about 50yds range there was a very slight left/right wiggle  followed almost immediately by the quad shooting off hard left and into a tree.  The Camera and VTx etc were all unpowered.  The only thing that was powered other than the Naza, Rx, ESC';s and motors was the TBS Core.

If you have had the same experience can you post your config below so we can see if there is any common items other than the Naza that could be the source.

My Config:

TBS Discovery
Naza v1 3.10 No GPS
DJI 30A Esc';s
Tiger Motor 2216';s
TBS Core
FrSky D8R plusII Rx
Tx JR 9xII with FrSky DJT module.

Do you guys use intelligent motor shut off or the basic motor cut at below 10% throttle ?

oh god that';s what i am dreading a fly away have not yet got my naza yet but to think all that money just going out of site. Is there anyway to stop these flyaways as the sound of it is putting me off.I know it happens to planes and helicopters but i thought with a naza your in control.

You cannot totally prevent it happening but if you use a firmware other than v3.10 and ensure that your RTH is set up correctly then the chances of it happening are extremely unlikely.

Also they have added an extra protection to latest firmware.. RX Protection....  this listens to the RX and if no change is found in levels for a preset period it enters failsafe.. (when armed)
