ifly-4 gps upgrade iminent

there has been a lot of hassle getting ideafly to release the promised gps upgrade for the ifly4. in the end it turned out that the gps unit that was due for release would not even be compatible with the 4. only the 4s.

this, understandably didn';t sit too well with us ifly4 owners. so after plenty of badgering and reminding them of their promise that the 4 was sold with a promise of gps soon they have finally come up with a solution to ensure we get our gps.

basically it involves us sending them the software code from our fc (to ensure its genuine) and upon receipt they will authorise the compatible fc (from the 4s) to be sent to us free, along with the purchase of the gps unit.. the gps unit will be $110. anyway, here is the thread with the important info for all ifly4 owner';s who want the gps : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1604592&page=191

I';ve been asked how I would like mine sent, and what description I want on the customs receipt.

To be honest, I';m not sure I will follow through, my machine fitted with the NAZA Light is doing a great job, and for £144 its probably what I will do with my other IFLY-4 .

The IFLY web site and documentation is full of errors, they posted a firmware upgrade for 4ce controller on the 4 site, owners have trashed their F\C do I really want to be part of that  I';ll see what price they come back with.
