XT60 or EC3

I'm planning to upgrade the XT30 connectors on my batteries to a larger size. However, after reading this article, I discovered that XT60 connectors are almost the same size as EC3 connectors and they also support similar current ratings. I'm guessing it wouldn't make much of a difference. Therefore, I'd like to ask for your advice on this matter.

Manufacturers do not (often!) put wrong sizing on these days. If the packs or the model came with XT30, its usually because that is all you need.

SO - Why do you want to change, as likely all its doing is adding weight?

The clip on grey back shielded yellow XT30 and XT60 are IMO a LOT better than the blue EC range.

Best so far for me and now my standard are A30 for micro 65-85, XT30 for 3" to 4" and XT60 for 5" and above.

Whatever you do avoid the EFlite/Blade/Spektrum orange connectors that in my circle are known as just EC's with a blatant attempt to lock you into buying only their packs!!!
