Hi All,
I have a stock F550 with a Lumix LX3 camera and have acheived good aerial photo results with this combination. I am looking to build a second hexa for aerial video use and possibly using an LX7 or a Sony NEX5R on a direct drive gimbal. I cannot afford an S800 with Zenmuse Z15!! However, I';m thinking of using a spare F550 hub assembly I have and mating the RCT800 arms to it. I have some 30A ESC';s as well so looking for some suitable motors to swing some biggish props whilst staying with 5000mah 3S lipo';s.

Any advice on motors that would be suitable?

Thanks for info. What pitch 11" props have you seen with these motors?

I wonder if the RCTimer carbon props are any good. I';ve ordered 4 pairs of 10x5';s for $35 to try out!! They do 4 pairs of 11x5';s for $38

Oh also should say I was running the 11x5 graupners (4s) but broke one and everywhere seems sold out so I tried the carbon ones I had. I';ve now ordered some 10x5 to try also
