1S lipo chargers

Looking at my 1S lipos I have realised that my current field charger isn't doing a great job. I like that I can charge 6 1S lipos but it only allows either 200mA or 600mA which isn't ideal for 300/350mAh lipos plus it seems to only charge to 4.30v not the full 4.35v.
I also use my main lipo charger (4 way from Hobby King) with these xt30 to 4 x PH2.0 cables. This charger also only seems to charge to 4.30v as well but it will storage charge.

Hold on, after writing that I wonder if my multimeter is under reading?
Thinking about it I do have a better multimeter that I can use to check. I say better it was a prize at the end of my apprenticeship almost 30 years ago but it was a decent one but some of the lcd has failed.

Anyway IF I need a new 1S lipo charger has anyone any experience of URUAV 6 in 1 it looks good but only 5 channels and only has xt60 input. So I would have to make up dc to xt60 adapter for mains. I do like that it gives the total current put back into the lipo which helps calibrate the current meter.
Alternatively there is this Ultra Power UP-S6AC which also has mains input and charges 6 lipos but it's almost twice the price.

Anyone know any 1S lipo chargers that have a storage charge option?

Any alternative 1S lipo chargers that anyone has used that are any good?

Cheers
I try :-)

You knew it'd be me!!

Are you sure your input voltage is not sagging under load??

I use these:-

6 In 1 3.7V 1S Lipo LiHv Battery Charger Board For Inductrix 3.7V KINGKONG Tiny 6 Eachine QX65 E010 E011 E013

https://www.banggood.com/6-In-1-3-7V-1S-Lipo-LiHv-Battery-Charger-Board-For-Inductrix-3-7V-KINGKONG-Tiny-6-7-Eachine-QX65-p-1170998.html?

With wall 12v PSU's of 3A or more capability, or you'll get input voltage sag and no charge.

I have six of them banked up, and they can all be full!!

I use converter leads for Walkera, BUT often I charge those on the little USB (usually orange) with a six way lead. I have tested many and writtne on them what they charge to. After finding that some (I have in excess of 20) go 4.20 for nonHV reliably, I marked and use them.

There are other flavours but I buy this type as the more shielded type stop the 1.25 rigid plugged LiPo being connected easily.

I'd using these all the time on PH2.0 from 150 to 650mAh.

As long as you power down (Pull input plug) and replace before adding batteries they go the full voltage every time.

If you leave the power on and plug batteries in they will NOT go to max change.

That might explain it. I am using a very similar charger (came with Mob7) just a bit of a cover over xt60 which is a couple of quid more than the one you link to.
I have not been power cycling after plugging in an extra battery. So that might explain it, thanks.

Still not managed to check multimeter with old one.

What sort of C rate do you charge at?

Cheers for the charger tip, very helpful.
I try :-)

"C" rate charge is a moot point as for example on 2S upwards I usually only charge at 1C, though for example 333mAh becomes 350mAh, and 450mAh becomes 500mAh, 650mAh becomes 700mAh (so 0.7A) if I have a lot to do.

Above 2200mAh I never ever run faster that 1C charge.

The 1S 6way chargers are set to the higher current .6A and left there for anything over 300mAh. Under that they are set down (individual switch) to 0.2A.

I never add a battery to a charger without input power cycling the charger. I have proven beyond any doubt (and my flying circle have all confirmed) that without doing this the final charge voltage (be it HV or not) will be lowered. Example, a std 1S stops at 4.16v, but after a power cycle goes to 4.20. Put straight to a charger and then power cycled gives the nearest to spec final voltage.

I have one 1S charger, an UltraPower UP-S6, that does not charge as fully no matter even if it is cycled. Batteries "charged" off that will usually if not knackered come to the right full voltage for std or HV if then put on another charger, even my "vetted and proven" orange colour tatty cheap plastic USB with multi way leads type.
