Hello guys,
I';ve uploaded the new firmware and now I';m having a problem.
Whenever I get in alt hold or loiter, the copter just goes full thr in the sky like a rocket.
I have already check the acc calibration and thr_mid (entering higher and lower values).
Does anyone have the same problem or a advice ?

Yes I did.
I';ve also downgraded to 2.8 in order to check for hardware problems. Nothing found.
Reflashed with the new firm. and the problem is still there.

installed on my V2 board.   the board wouldnt recogognize the RX inputs anymore.

Reinstalled 2.8 and it recognized the RX inputs again....

Sucks because i wanted to try it.

Yup!  Same thing happened to me. "PPM Disabled"  fixed it!

Please excuse me if this is a stupid question, but does this mean the firmware is uploaded without compiling a sketch with arduino. ?

when you access the configh file for megapirates and complile it in arduino these files need to be changed to suit your application

in thie downloaded megapirates ardiuno file PPM is defined this should be defined as disabled
also TX is defined standard ( mode 1 transmitter) this should be be TX wii defined (mode 2 transmitter)

I was running 2.9 R6 and it flew pretty good. I just upgraded to 2.91b R8 with addons.
Made the changes to the ConfigH.
Then loaded the latest param file for the Crius board.  Calibrated everything.
It flies all over the place. I went from Rate P .0900 to .1750 with no change.
It just doesn';t act right. Back to the drawing board.

and download the 2.9 addons file + the config file you will have the most stable setup you can get at the moment - addons removes sonar code so gives the processor an easier time, I';ve got it on my 450 flamewheel with crius v1.1 and it is ace!

A lot depends on if they have ditched the sonar code or not, most of the problems people were getting was down to the processor running flat out all of the time - removing the sonar code freed up the processor and allowed it to work better without bottlenecking.

I';m going to have to guess that as it is the pukka MPNG and not the Add Ons version that the sonar code is still in there.    Hmmm

I have a Crius AIOP 1.1 in my box ';o bits that I';ve never used. I keep intending it for the Scratch Build that is looking so forlorn in the corner of my workshop.  I had intended to put Add Ons on the FC - curses, not enough time on my hands at the moment, work getting in the way   

Is there a way of finding out what kind of load the code is putting on the FC - that is, without waiting for it to fall out of the sky?

I would just load 2.9 addons from PK';s website and also install his config file, works great for me!
