Ultra short micro USB extensions.

With a number of my Chinese quads (Like the Aurora 90) they supply an ultra short micro USB extension. Micro plug to socket, about 35-45mm long.

These are VERY handy for getting the USB to computer connection in a more sensible and easily used place.

Sadly as yet I have been unable to find them as a spare to use where not provided.

Any sources known please??     :help:

I try :-)

Thats about the shortest commonly available, but useless for my purpose, as I'm talking mm not cm!  That  one's about 7.5"  or about the length of an average European male xxxxx ...........  (Never mind!  :azn )

If you look at the pictures of my "yellow peril" you will likely see one of what comes with the Aurora 90 boards in use, though you'll only see the USB socket end. In that case the extensions have a differing small board socket and plug, so its actually also used as a converter to conventional USB micro, but USB micro plug to USB micro socket are sometimes rarely supplied with quads or boards.

It's not moulded over plug or socket, and has individual fine wires, no overall insulation to stiffen and bulk, in all drastically reducing bulk/weight, and its overall length is only 35mm. It's just enough to get the USB access on a FC Board away from things like spacers, props, etc.

They were particularly useful when some Naze boards had a rear mounted socket and it wasn't convenient to rotate the board, but still relevent today.

I see, very short, light weight, naked usb extension cables.......
Never seen any of those..sorry.
I try :-)
