Keep Tarot Xzy M or swap out with Wookong?

Newbie question alert!

Is it worth part dismantling two hexacopters to swap controllers? I have recently bought a Tarot X6 with an as yet untried Tarot controller (waiting for a few more bits to arrive before it's flight-ready).

I have a 550, not flown for a few years, with a Wookong M. Will I gain any great advantage if I do the swap or will the Tarot fly the heavy - around 11kg AUW - airframe ok?

I use a Tarot controller that  works well on a 500 4 motor carrying a gimbal with a Gopro. I haven't used a Wookong but i would suspect it would be better with the extra weight.

Both are old technology now but still very capable.
Ive got a 550 hex with a ZYX-M in it and great, Ive also built some big stuff (TV camera rigs) using the Wookong and it too is great.
Personally I would go for the Wookong out of the two for a big build ~~
