Damn you Runcam.... Grrrr!!!

So I did a quick few packs to try out Runcam 5 on my quad.  A few crashes into long grass - post rubiks cube - so nothing serious.  Then it wouldn't start recording - flashing blue light.  Come home to check the SDCard and found the Runcam had corrupted it.  Isn't even recognized in my PC.  Well done Runcam!  Firmware needs work again.  So not as robust as a GoPro.

It's a shame as I got some good 4K footage a few evenings ago from a wing flight.

Hey Urban, do you know if there was a firmware upgrade to make the Runcam 5 a bit more robust towards SD cards? I've just killed a session5 so need to consider my options ....

Haven't GoPro got some sort of trade up program at the minute might be worth a look if it's cheap enough?

Doesn't  look like there's been any more recent firmware.  I would say it's still a good alternative  to the session 5 but probably not as robust. Plus it's cheaper, lighter and fits all standard session mounts. Image quality is on a par with the session if not better.  You can do superview if you stretch the 1440p image in post.
