Has the makings of a hissing contest, that....MY crash was far more money than yours, etc.

Fact is, anyone around large 3D Helicopters or Jets would be immensely grateful to crash and ONLY have that cost!

I can sympathise with ANY damage that costs money.

Props don't count though - broken props are BADGES OF HONOUR!

Heli Club I am a member of used to lace the broken rotor blades into a hedge backing the parking, until the Farmer pointed out that "they'll make a fine mess of the cutter blades come pruning time". Damage one and the previously balanced pair got "ended", so the would be 3D exponents made quite a display quite quickly. At one point there were probably well into four figures expenditure hanging there.
