H O, that looks a great (and safe) location! 

Have been out in the garden this morning flying my loops course with the Inductrix. I wait for the red eye';s to start their LHR approach and while they are not low or loud, it';s enough to totally mask the tiny noise from the quad so as not to incur any angst fom neighbours.

This morning I caught a squirrel out, it ignored the quad so I circled round behind it and flew into it  I think it cleared the 6'; fence without touching it!!

I keep looking, I like the Go pro silver but don';t fancy smashing it, Runcam looks a bit strong with colours, but yours looks good. More research needed 👍

At that price, it';s to good to be true 
I';ve got a cheap action cam similar and quality is crap !
I do like the mobius I bought and would recommend, for just over 50 quid I don';t think you can beat it

Would the soft colour mean you will be flying less aggressively so unable to crash?

A bit like strapping buttered toast to the back of a falling cat.

I bought one by the way, like the tight fisted old git I am, should be easy to find in the grass if nothing else.

I only bought it because it is cheaper than waterproof case for my mobius and (hopefully) fits the Quanum Nova hanging bracket (the nova is destined for someone else.)

Still just been out in the sun with my AWS28, first flight this year bit rough OK, forgot to zero telemetry so could not work out why it hit 400ft but looked more like 250ft, brought it down to check telemetry settings, battery voice saying "11 volts" but I knew I had an first alarm at 11.2 - seems voice rounds down.
Second flight crashed on take off (battery moved back). Lesson to self check CG after every landing even apparently smooth ones, use two straps for battery. Broke the end off a wing and the wooden wing retainer, bugger.

Hah! Who am I kidding. I managed to get out yesterday evening at about 8:30 to throw a couple of packs at the sky - and it was GLORIOUS!!!!
Air as still as a millpond allowed me to check my trim. Solid as a ROCK.
Gained a litlte more confidence when I punched the throttle, did a pirouette, dropped it and caught the quad just short of the ground (that';s my best shot at ANY kind of trick so far). I';m pretty sure I heard applause from the kids sitting on the wall at the end of the field :)

That';s rough!!! Hope it';s easy to fix 
What I do with mine to stop that happening is either to put felt pen marks so I can see where the one end of the battery should be or if there is room fit the battery in a removable battery holder that is located accurately in place and held by plastic push rivets.

Vegetable steamer to straighten the broken ends then glued with foam safe, left it clamped overnight. Tail popped out but no damage, just have to make another wing retainer (thin strip of ply).

Part of my error was putting the mobius on the tail, I fitted a metal spinner to this model so normally had to move the battery back a little anyway, had it wedged behind a platform and retained with EPO block, with the mobius on the tail battery needed to go back in normal spot and a 2200mah, just didn';t strap it down perfectly and there is lots of room to move in there.
Lots of lessons/reminders for me and I';m sure the military helicopter overhead had a good laugh at my seven second flight.

flew at work today trying to get the video that my boss wants but sun was blinding me and glaring on the tablet so might have to have another go.

Many thanks. Yeah rocks water and sand. Defo lucky there. not as smooth as I';d like but I was pooing meself!:) I wanna redo that crack from the fairway end. Drop down into it. That would make great footage. :) if I get away with it!:)

Took my AXN out at lunch, lovely day, sixteen and half minute mucking around, motor on for bursts totalling two minutes (not really trying anything just enjoying the breeze).
Where I work is pretty flat but there must be something about the hills behind (North/NE) and a wind west to northwest that seems to give lift, it';s not there most days but sometimes it seems like ridge lift but at the base of a hill. I must get Google earth going and try to work it out.

I need to build a quad to leave at work, badly want an indoor one for FPV mucking about when the weather is bad..
