  • Reman: I did double check it with a metre (Mainly because I knew if I didn't check the polarity this would be the time the manufacturer had gone off script and put the negative in the middle of the coax) and felt slightly cheated because it was only making 19.7 volts. :)

  • Bajadre: yeah heat and wring never a good thing only a matter of time :(

  • Bad Raven: Well, it should! Rated for 24v. Be careful, have you checked the PSU output?  Many psu that (say) are supposed to be 12v actually output 16-18v. Is your 20v actually less than 24v??
    January 04, 2019, 08:41:14
  • Reman: Just modified the cable on a 20V 7A PSU to connect to my TS100........ It.... Erm..... Heats up a bit quicker than it did on 12V. LOL !!!

  • Reman: I didn't try to taste it, but it gave off that kind of smell that gets you in the back of the throat. :)

AQ600 is dead, meet the S600
« on: November 07, 2018, 05:46:50 »
early days but the S600 frame arrived a few days ago, i have built the frame to make sure it all goes together correctly....it does, this is the big brother to the S500 and its huge, but really nice, carbon rods moulded into the arms
and upswept just like its little bro.
This will be getting the running gear from AQ600, 40amp esc`s sunnysky 3108 720kv motors and Naza m V1, got a Tarot gimbal for it and need some larger props as this beast can run up to 17" but going 13" on it

More than likely an SJ5000 cam, lots of work to do yet, hope to finish fitting motors and esc`s sunday morning, and get the Naza installed, need to decide what lights to fit but Banggood have some 4s flashbangs that might sit nice and neat on outer end of arms, got to order some 1355 T series props, as the 1155 that i have will look lost on this frame, this should replace my P3 phantom once its all done and fine tuned

Decided on the lights, the 4s small flashbangs arrived and are really nice, plenty bright enough, i had to order a set of 4 green so just ordered a set of 4 red, so 2x green on front arms and 2x red on rear arms........the other 2 green ones are going on my C1 chaser, what i bought them for

Not done much as i was waiting on a few parts but i did get motors fitted and installed Naza, but it was a rush job so im about to trim and tidy up the motor wires and solder the LED`s, the new props arrived i went with 1255, figured these would be about right for this new build, pictures in a bit
