Video Nasty

Odd effect occurring on a 200 of mine.

Fit battery and fly, all OK.

15 mins later, fit battery and fly, and the video is poor, background horizontal flicker. Useable, but noticeably poorer

30, mins later, same.

Several days later:-

Fit battery and fly, all OK.

30 mins later, fit battery and fly, and the video is poor, background horizontal flicker.


What the....................   


I have a replacement camera (CCD instead of oldish CMOS) and a replacement FC (F3 instead of F1) to hand but will need a replacement VTX to replace all.

25mW amd 200mW (for abroad), what the best out there?

Weird.
I had a vtx03 and a generic pagoda and was suffering a bit of lines but thought that was as i was flying under power lines.
I replaced them with a Unity Pro Race HV and a Menace Raptor and I get a so much better image. I am very impressed with them.
Antenna about £9 and unity about £22 from HobbyRC.

I have on occasion had random earthing issues causing problems.
Either antenna mount , or motor bolts.
Sometimes the latter really don't look like they are icky , yet need a washer.
