  • Bad Raven: I think a lot of us will have seen the published (leaked) training instructions to police officers on FPV, which was both incomplete and incorrect. Only the Little Hitler types will be comfortable treading any of that path!

  • Reman: Thought for the day - If a knowledgeable police officer stopped you and saw that you had a "600mW" VTX on your quad he'll get funny about it, But would even a VERY knowledgeable officer know what they were looking at if the same VTX had a professional looking label under the heat shrink that proclaimed that the VTX was in fact a 25mW unit?  :hmm:

Me playing the drums
« on: September 30, 2018, 10:27:59 »
This is very of topic.I have just uploaded a video of me playing drums in a band I was in called Wickstead, back in 2004.

Its taken me 14 years to upload it on that stupid dial up connection I had back then....  :blink

Better late than never eh?

Actually after watching it I bet some of you might think it would have been better if it never got an airing in the first place.

Here ya go, enjoy.

Thanks Graham :-)
I would love an electronic kit.  If I ever win the lottery.....
One thing about drums is that they are so LOUD, being able to play at night and mix in tunes to play along to in headphones must be a great thing indeed.
I still play regularly and try to practice things that I can't do and focus on the boring technical things like proper rolls, para-diddles, playing to a metronome and what not. I think I play better now than I did 14 years ago. I also like to think that my neighbors like my drumming....  I could be wrong about that but I haven't had any of them coming round with a hammer for a very long time.
I have been learning how to use double bass drum pedals in the last year or two.  I am getting to be "almost convincing" with them at the moment hehe...
I just had to get over the shock of my left foot making bass drum noises.

Probably all deaf now?  :whistling:

Had some neighbours that were pretty deaf............... we had to like their television choice.  Luckily they were too old for sex.  :blink
