Mixture of 3S and 4S batteries depends what balances.

I'll be putting a FC in it as my RX has been de-pinned, too much of a pain to work out how to solder the servos to it, also want OSD.

Im building a wing with my odd motors and escs too. Got some small servos kicking about from my rc cars. Might as well put them to use

well its more of a kit, Sonic Modell AR, the wing itself is only about £50
i have x3 2205 2300kv motors from a quad i wrecked, 1 motor got hit hard and deformed the bell and i couldn't get hold of another one, so this is a good way to put these odd motors to some use
already got some 3s 2200mah 40C lipos that i use in my RC trucks
all i need to get the wing up in the air is the wing itself, fpv cam and vtx

Same situation here.I ended up building a Reptile S800 with a cheapo Omnibus F4 and a spare odd 2204 and a bag of servos I was given.
A few hours on a sim were put in before the maiden.
It took a fair few knocks(mostly from Auto Launch  failures).But after a couple of flights maybe 20minutes I found I could do figure 8s and get it down in one piece.
The big difference is less time and maneuverability to recover from noob pilot ****** ups
But be warned it's another drain on the credit card.Iv'e found fixed wings just as adictive as multi's.

Slow progress.

My daughter wanted to do the build herself, with a little help. So she has taken over but doesn't get too much free time.

Got the electronics mounted but burnt out the servos when a regulator went dodgy.

Working on the fuselage now.
