If like me you enjoy flying your "tiny whoop" class micros
then you might love this
BetaFPV have released 2 new micros
the 65X and 75X, both running on 2s brushless
safe enough for indoor use and plenty of power for outdoors
they even have their own version of "smart audio"!!!
dshot 600 and all that good stuff we have in our 5" quads but in a tiny whoop style micro

Just about to place my order
is it better to get the Frsky version or get the PNP and add a genuine Frsky xm/xm+ receiver?

Wyntrblue

personally i find my beebrainv2 whoop an utter handful inside and the idea of a 2s machine indoors just fills me with terror. you must have a big space to fly it at home thats for sure!

Did you do an acrobee build? Which motors did you go for?

Wyntrblue

Yea beebrain v2 Black motors and it is an utter handful I have a large 4 bed house and yea I think a sports hall would be more appropriate.

I had a babyhawk (original 2s version) and that was so powerful to be inflatable indoors.

Sweet Pickle

My little brushless will only really comes into it's own during the summer.
I have 2 sets of patio doors out back so I can do laps of the house and garden. It's the only time the motors can open up.
Flying it indoors alone, it's across the room with a blip of the throttle. It'll be a waste for the most part.

How does it fly in the garden?

My eachine e010 just gets blown away. No power at all

Wyntrblue

No idea. I don’t fly it outside.

What are you flying?

Decided against buying this after watching a review posted on youtube by Nick Burns
The camera tilt is 30 degrees so seems to be aimed at whoop racers, which I am far from
It dam quick too so he was saying you have to pitch back before every turn otherwise the momentum will carry you into a wall

so i've decided to go with the new bee drone acro bee

It's a bit of a hybrid.
I originally got a snapper 6 which was really poor and virtually everything broke.
I kept the camera and VTX (which isn't great so I don't know why).
Got new BetaFPV F3 FC and a Frsky XM RX. I couldn't get hold of a brushless FC with Frsky RX without buying the same board that blew ESC's (so didn't trust it).
BetaFPV frame and a new set of 1900kv motors.

It's very nifty indeed and a fair bit quicker than the KingKong brushed whoop I was/am flying.
