  • Bad Raven: I think a lot of us will have seen the published (leaked) training instructions to police officers on FPV, which was both incomplete and incorrect. Only the Little Hitler types will be comfortable treading any of that path!

  • Reman: Thought for the day - If a knowledgeable police officer stopped you and saw that you had a "600mW" VTX on your quad he'll get funny about it, But would even a VERY knowledgeable officer know what they were looking at if the same VTX had a professional looking label under the heat shrink that proclaimed that the VTX was in fact a 25mW unit?  :hmm:

Midnight racing with the lads in Singapore!
« on: August 04, 2018, 17:43:16 »
Met up with the lads in Singapore for a "fun fly" as they call it  ::)
Too hot in the day, so we flew at MIDNIGHT. Skinniest spot I'VE ever flown.

It was next to an area under construction, so the only traffic was CONCRETE MIXER lorries, and the cops (but that's another story!)  ::)

MAD FUN!!! Here's a few teaser shots. Vid to come when I get back home at the end of the month.

Looks awesome, Andy! Glad your battery scare wasn't any worse as well!

Have you met a guy called Ryan out there? He's the bloke I've flown with a couple of times.

Think I may have done! Really bad with names. Chatted with dozens of the locals on WhatsApp

I don't get back to the UK until 22-Aug. Footage is burning a hole in me at the moment!!!

Been uploading it all to the file servers at work daily in case my laptop dies on me :)

Looks like the guys have another session set up for Sunday which I'm probably going to.

Also, seems that drone-folk are the same worldwide. I've been offered the loan of a spare lipo bag so I can charge without burning my mother-in-law's hose down (apparently that's regarded as bad manners over here - who knew!)
