Chucked my naza on my little quad frame to have a mess around, pretty pleased with the results and loads of ideas for next time.

Very nice Steve,  thanks for sharing. Sure makes me wonder if I should get a NAZA and stop fighting with the APM 2.5.

Excellent video Steve, The Naza is a very good choice if you want something out of the box that works and always works well  ~~

Thanks for the comments folks.

It was a really a "thrown together" effort as far as the platform was concerned. Fist time I had even flown my little quad in that configuration in complete honesty!  Also first time I';ve flown FPV using the gopro as the live feed camera, rather than a board-cam.  I knocked up a lead out of an old 2.5mm phone earpiece and it worked like a charm.

With a bit more time, I would have dialled the gains down on the naza a bit...it was oscillating a little, but not terrible. Also, next time, I will put the gopro in it';s housing, mostly so I can alter the angle. Loads of ideas for things I want to do "next time".

One really interesting thing though I noticed, up the top, where those jumps are and everyone is gathered, GPS signal was intermittent.  I was flying in GPS mode, and every now and then (I';m guessing as the gps signal came in and out) it would suddenly shoot off, typically backwards!!  Caught me out once when it went over my head behind me, but no crashes on the day lol.

The chap who won the "Masters" category asked for a copy of my original footage, which he';s cut into various other footage shot on the day, and made a nice little video out of it...

Check it out if you like mountain biking...
