I just ordered myself a new battery as i suspect my old ones are slowly fading away. It should be a bit lighter with a higher C rating than I'm used to so could make for interesting flying.

I only got the 1 though as I'm not feeling particularly wealthy at the moment.

Its great news that we will be able to get lipos at the right price in the Uk, look forward to seeing how you get on with the nano tech as they are lighter and should have a bit more grunt  ~~
I have some of a guy on ebay zippy flight max and they have been good, I payed a bit more than getting them from HK but got them quicker   ;)

Gaza07

Some time ago I bought 8 of the flight power evoultra-lite packs direct from flight power and they are nano versions, but it took ages for them to arrive and I had some problems with the seller and had to open a dispute,
but did eventually get my packs, they look very good, but when I checked them on my Icharger the internal resistance was as high as some of my older packs, I wasnt to pleased and all emails were ignored,
the packs seem to work well on my quads but no better than my zippies  :o

Would I recommend these packs to anyone no, i wish I had used the money to get more zippies or turnigys

They look well made and decent quality its a shame they arent as good as they look, I will stick with my flight max packs for now  ~~

I didn't realise until i just read up on them that the 'nano' bit of the name actually refers to the technology used in the battery - i thought it was just a brand name.

I can only hope the turnigy 'nano' type batteries turn out to be better than the evoultra-lites.

I've been using "nano" Tech batteries for over a year now from HK and I have only good things to say about them!

At the moment i just have 3 different orange coloured 'Long Max' Lipos that are starting to fade slightly. They can be charged at 5 C and range from 20 to 30C discharge ratings at 3000mah. My low battery alarm goes about half way into the flight on high powered ascents etc which I'm taking as a sign that they aren't coping well with the current draw.

I will post back once I've had the chance to compare these with some of the new 'nano tech' batteries.

Thats good news more so now we can get them from the uk warehouse just stay clear of the flight power ones   :azn

Actually the flight power nano's are performing fine at the moment it just worries me that there will be no longevity because of the high internal resistance, maybe the nano packs have an higher resistance I don't know but like I said I would not recommend this brand because of the problems with the seller and the resistance which may turn out to mean nothing time will tell
stick with the turnigy nano packs as BYOD has used them and knows they are good
