(Greek) Wall-Riding
« on: May 15, 2018, 21:53:36 »
Took a 30 mile bike ride this morning to hit this spot.  The second time I have ridden out to it as there were farmers there the first time!

Hot, hard work, but worth it to get my Jeb Corliss on! :)

Hope you guys enjoy...

Really nice video and a cool spot! I’m off to Greece on hols in a couple of weeks and am wondering about taking a quad. Tbh with all the kids stuff in the bags it might just be one thing too much.

And I think my missus might veto it!

Takes some doing to get a quad on the approved packing list. Managed to JUST squeeze mine in for a Singapore trip later in the year.  :sweating:

I’ve flown in Singapore, there’s a pretty good quad community out there. Also there’s no legal requirement for a spotter!

One of the guys I met has some gorilla fpv footage that will never make it on YouTube! Awesome stuff!

The establishment is pretty fierce though (got family out there so I know the place well), so I'm going to stick to all the sensible rules... well, for as long as I can!  :whistling:

I have a rule about all my quad gear having to fit in a single backpack - jakalas will confirm this, I'm big on rules!

This ensures my kit is ultra portable and means it's easy for me to take it with me at all times. I just put my basic tools in my hold luggage and the rest was my hand luggage.

You really don't want to be lugging loads of kit around even in the UK - especially when you're trying to get to interesting sites!

Slim it down to the bear essentials and you should be fine.

The real challenge is getting her to come spot for you at sunrise - I bribe Claire with iced creams! 🤣

... the authorities still excesise caning as a common form of punishment.  :slap:

I think there have been some dudes that tried to dive Marina Bay Sands but were caught and dealt with. Anyhoo, there's some good locations just near there to rip.

The worst type of gap slapping.

Do it from far away with a crossfire and a serious groundstation and you'd be fine!

LOL. Not even gonna THINK about it. You can get slapped with a fine just for chewing GUM, so that means that tryingto won't be able to fly at ALL there!
