Ok, posted this a few weeks back and made the mistake of posting on USA sites... who then claimed I was more or less equivalent to Hitler.

(original thread here: http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php?topic=2070.msg16382#msg16382)

Had great support from you guys, but had to take it down for a bit to avoid USA numpties downrating my videos through a lack of understanding that the UK is like. a different country, with you know, its own laws, etc :-)

All perfectly above board and legal to UK ANO (I';m a paramotor pilot when I';m not flying RC..so stuff like that matters to me...)

I imagine that USA forum (not naming it... f*** em) thread is well and truly dead now, so I';ve moved video to public again:

0-1800 feet in 30 seconds quadcopter Flight. Flown in accordance with UK ANO.

enjoy.

Since last weekend, I flew my paramotor up to 10,000 feet and that took 35 mins!!

Thanks for posting again, I was peeved I missed it last time.
Is there any restriction on height we must keep below?
Aren';t you going to post it';s decent?  :frantic:

Let';s hope it wasn';t 1800 to zero feet in a similar time!

Missed the shock horror on RC Groups another site but can imagine the comments! Used to have the opposite problem, moaned at for flying below 500 feet in a Cessna ...   :whistling:

well, depends on your local airspace of course, but also you have to be flying line of sight to be within the ANO - personally 2k is about it for me - I still see it fine at that height and fly it fine, see direction, etc but I';d have thought much higher and its gonna get tricky to really claim that you have line of sight to any adequate degree really.

Descent was uneventful really, and much longer than ascent, so didn';t seem much point in posting.

I need to go to Specsavers I think! 1400ft and it';s a spec. Though I do like night flying as I can go way higher!
